Training

Zona Farms' full-service training program is designed to accommodate serious competitors at all levels, as well as pleasure riders who want to get more out of their daily riding. The training program includes a combination of five professional rides/lessons per week, structured to meet the specific needs of each individual horse and rider.  Walking the Jumper Course
We believe strongly that keeping our horses healthy and happy is an integral part of a successful training program. As part of the training services, Zona Farms meticulously manages the overall care of each individual horse in our program, including feeding, shoeing, and routine and specialized veterinary care. In addition to daily access to the outdoors in 12 x 24 stall-attached runs, our horses also enjoy turn out, with appropriate equipment (boots, sheets, blankets, etc), seven days per week.
Stall Runs
Though not required, the training program highly encourages competition in hunter/jumper shows as an important way for horses and riders to demonstrate their learning and measure progress against individual goals. Trainer Darci Gilliand work closely with clients to develop a schedule of shows for each season.
